Living through the pandemic forced a lot of us to think outside of the box when it comes to our romantic lives and just our lives in general. There is so much you can do indoors and still have a blast. So if you’re planning the perfect romantic date but don’t want to go outside, here are some amazing at home date night ideas…

Fun and Romantic At Home Date Night Ideas
Backyard Picnic
There is something incredibly romantic about a picnic with your loved one. And the picnic doesn’t necessarily have to be in your back yard, you could go to a park, or a beach or a romantic meadow.
Picnic Basket | Picnic Blanket | Mesh Food Covers | Picnic Table
Cooking Date
Why not pretend you and your partner are on a fancy cooking show and cook up the most fancy out-of-your-comfort-zone dish you can think of. This will definitely lead to some fun times while you create heat in the kitchen *wink*.
Romantic Bubble Bath
This is an incredibly, incredibly sexy date. Obviously only do it with some one you’re comfortable sharing your body with. This date is as simple as scattering a few rose petals and setting up some candles but it is so romantic!
Bubble Bath | Bath Oil | Epsom Bath Salt
Backyard Movie Night
Create your own little romantic private movie showing in your backyard (or even indoors)! This is a movie night so obviously lots of snacks are important!
Take a Drive
Take a long drive with your partner. Blast a carefully curated playlist of songs. Drive to a deserted filed/carpark, watch the sunset.
Build a Camp Fire
Build a camp fire in your backyard and make this a s’mores date. If you don’t want to build a fire there are those portable s’mores makers that you can set up so you can have the date indoors.

Build a Fort
I know this sounds incredibly cheesy but trust me if you get it right this could be such a cozy, close and romantic situation for you and your partner.

Car Picnic
Stuff your car full of blankets, pillows and food and drive to any scenic location in your area and have a car “picnic” with your partner.
These sound like great ideas. Although I’d like to add that a bubble bath might not be a great idea, it can get quite uncomfortable if you don’t have a big enough tub 😀
???? maybe a shower? Though I don’t know how you can make a shower romantic lol
Love some of these ideas.
With the UK being in lockdown im really struggling with how to make it that bit more special.
Thank you for your tips 🙂
