Hey everyone! I’ll jump right in and be straight up honest with you guys. I absolutely hate 2020. I know with everything going on, everyone does too… But these last couple of months have been utter hell for me… Let’s just say I’m happy that this year is finally coming to an end… But hey you’re probably not reading this post to hear about my suck-fest year. You came here to get some awesome Netflix recommendations! And I will say, when you’re stuck at home, you do end up stumbling across some pretty interesting tv shows… Don’t worry, I won’t be talking about shows like Stranger Things or Money Heist. Because (although they are pretty awesome) there would be no point in me talking about them when everybody and their cat has already heard of them and watched them…
So I wanted to recommend some pretty underhyped and in my opinion underrated Netflix shows… So without further ado here is a list of some pretty underrated but totally binge worth series.
3 TOP NETFLIX RECOMMENDATIONS
1. LOCKE AND KEY
This is a fairly new one so I don’t think a lot of people have had a proper chance to really get into it, which is why I’m putting it on this list. I really loved this show and actually watched it all in one sitting. A warning if you’re going to watch this show, season one literally just came out a few months ago so it’s going to be a looong wait until season 2, if you apparently like to torture yourself like I do go ahead and binge this.
2. LOST IN SPACE
You guys I am absolute trash for science fiction and this was one of the most entertaining, well executed series to ever bless my eyeballs. Lost in Space is really really good you guys and I’m shocked that not that many people talk about it. Like yeah its popular and has a dedicated fan base but in my opinion its just as good as say Stranger Things and needs the same amount of love.
3. THE HOOK UP PLAN
This is one of those series that sound so cheesy but I’m telling you if you give it a chance it’s so worth it. If you didn’t know this series is set in France and the actors speak french. I love this rise in international entertainment, people just don’t fear subtitles anymore and that’s freaking awesome. As a long time supporter of K dramas and anime its nice to see the rest of the world hopping on the bandwagon and its nice to finally have more foreign language options in entertainment media.
