Hey guys! I can’t believe its the middle of December already! (lets ignore the fact that I’m really late to do this tag). The year that never ended is finally ending and just hallelujah! What better way to celebrate than with a good old book tag? One that’s perfect for the end of year! Without further ado here is my end of year book tag!

(The End of Year Book Tag was created by Ariel Bissett).

2020 End of Year Book Tag

ARE THERE ANY BOOKS YOU STARTED THIS YEAR THAT YOU NEED TO FINISH?

A TON. You would not believe how many books I started, then put down so I could start another one, while promising myself that I would get back to it and then never doing so. The books that I started, then stopped reading but really do plan to continue are: From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout, Unravel the Dusk by Elizabeth Lim and Jade City by Fonda Lee. With barely three weeks left in the year, I’m praying hoping I’ll get to these at all.

DO YOU HAVE A BOOK TO TRANSITION INTO THE END OF THE YEAR?

I don’t know what book would be more perfect to end the year with than Big Summer by Jennifer Weiner. It’s crazy and fun and dramatic and it’s just the kind of energy I need getting into next year.

IS THERE A NEW RELEASE YOU’RE STILL WAITING FOR?

Seeing as this is the literal end of the year, I doubt there is going to be any new releases to even be excited about this point. All the big exciting books are already out in the world. But since this is a book tag and it would be boring if I didn’t mention any books, the one book I was really excited for (that released December 1st) was Admission by Julie Buxbaum. I haven’t read it yet but Julie Buxbaum is one of my favorite authors so I’m obviously dying to read the darn book.

WHAT ARE THREE BOOKS YOU WANT TO READ BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR?

This is probably the easiest question to answer on this list! Though I don’t know if I’ll be able to read any of these before the year is over. The books I would literally kill to read before the year is done are: Ready Player Two by Ernest Cline (!!!), Instant Karma by Marisa Meyer and Anxious People by Frederick

IS THERE A BOOK YOU THINK COULD STILL SHOCK YOU AND BECOME YOUR FAVOURITE BOOK OF THE YEAR?

Seeing as the next book on my TBR (to be read list) is Big Summer by Jennifer Weiner and I’ve heard nothing but great things about it, I’m pretty sure its going to be a favorite of mine… Hopefully.

HAVE YOU ALREADY STARTED MAKING READING PLANS FOR 2020?

Honestly? No. I’m just trying to make it to the end of 2020 to be honest. I haven’t even been looking out for 2021 releases. But you know what? Despite my refusal to look at 2021 book releases, one kept popping up in my feeds and its one I’m so excited about! So I guess if there is one book I’m definitely going to be reading next year, its going to be A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #4)!!!
